The Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) aims to create a paradigm shift in the way the world thinks about peace by using data-driven research to show that peace is a positive, tangible, and achievable measure of human well-being and development.
Through the Memorandum of Understanding signed on October 29, 2019, IEP and URI agree to work together to build sustainable peace by providing URI Cooperation Circles, including but not limited to those working in peacebuilding and conflict transformation, with the tools they may need to accomplish their aims through the use of the Positive Peace Framework as developed by IEP.
