As she performs her work for URI as a sub-region staff member, Ms. Ng'oma says she has developed a strong belief that people of different beliefs can live and work together without problem, “a thing that scares many believers.” Ms. Ng'oma says she has come to be knowledgeable about other religions through URI, “and have come to a conclusion that we are serving the same God. URI has taught me to be humble, and to live the preamble, purpose and principles as stated in the charter. I have always enjoyed the unique way of bringing together different believers of all ages, of varied backgrounds, both male and female. From the first meeting I attended years back, they have been beneficial and interesting. The meetings are binding and build bridges across the board.”
