CC Liaison and Communications Officer for URI-Asia: North India and Afghanistan Region
Tanya Sablok works on strengthening interfaith and intergenerational relations, bridging over 60 grassroots groups in the region, and interweaving faith-based and indigenous solutions to solving local challenges. Tanya has been passionately working as a facilitator and peace educator and has also contributed to highlighting the regional stories of good practices in peacebuilding. Moreover, she has been engaging with various organizations in India to work on issues pertaining to peacebuilding, environment, youth gender, and inclusive education, and has contributed to faith-based interventions such as the UNEP-URI Faith for Earth Councillors Program and has co-edited the 'Faith for Harm Reduction Manual' in India.
