The Trail of Dreams World Peace Walkers invite you to join us on March 20, 2008 at 6pm to celebrate the Spring Equinox with us. The Spring Equinox, or Vernal Equinox is the time when the day and night are approximately equal. Many religions and traditional societies have holy days related to this astronomical occurrence.
We, the Trail of Dreams Wold Peace Walkers, send out a call to all of our interfaith, inter cultural, intergenerational communities around the world to join us by walking for at least 1 hour, from 6pm to 7pm. Set a clear intention for the walk before you begin. During this walk we ask that you connect with the light within. As you feel your internal light build, send it out throughout the world. See a brilliant star burst radiating from you out to the entire planet...okay, if that is too much, then at least see it embracing your community (smile). Invite others to join you and make this a joyous time.
At the end of the walk, hold the energy until you enter your home and light a candle in a safe space and let it burn to represent the energy of resurrection and renewal. For those of you who continue to keep a sacred fire, at the end of the walk, place a pinch of Mother Earth gathered along the way into the fire in honor of the renewal of Mother Earth and all of humanity, along with your prayers.
