The United Religions Initiative at the United Nations (URI-UN) CC has twelve members, including members from Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Hindu, Interfaith, Humanist, Indigenous, and Esoteric backgrounds. Its members are representatives to the UN of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and the purpose of the URI-UN is to provide an ongoing presence for the URI at the United Nations.
In honor of the URI's 10th Anniversary, URI-UN will host a small event in June celebrating the signing of the URI Charter at the UN and the UN Charter's 65th anniversary. It will also serve to highlight the 100-day countdown to the International Day of Peace.
