URI is helping launch a new film, The Calling, that offers an inside look at the lives of young Americans of different faiths who are training for religious leadership. Produced by The Kindling Group with a multi-faith team of filmmakers, the film and accompanying community engagement campaign, What’s Your Calling, aim to ignite a national discussion about the notion of callings from both the religious and secular perspectives. URI partnered with local CCs and other Bay Area interfaith organizations for a sneak preview screening of the film in San Francisco in November. The Calling will have a two-night US-based premiere on PBS's Independent Lens from 9-11 pm EST / 8-10 pm CST on December 20-21 and be available online the following week. It will also be available beginning in mid-December on iTunes.
