Thank GOD we are finally free. I want to thank each and everyone of you for the prayers, words and emotional support. God had answered our prayers. It was an amazing feeling for us to be fighting for our freedom and know deep inside that we are not alone you were with us in Tahrir Square by your souls. That was a first step to start a new Era. Where we will rebuild our beloved Egypt and the cornerstone will be Peace, Love and Justice. We are sure that you will support us in this too and we are sure that we will help in implanting the whole Middle east with Peace, Love and Justice.
May Peace Prevail on Earth,
Reem

Friends:
From Cairo, I wrote Yesterday:
Today I am SO HaPpY:
I want to share with you how Amazing, Lovely and Powerful today was:
It was SO Different from that day when Muslim Brothers were almost everywhere in Tahrir Square. Today was a Prayer day in the Square for the leaders’ spirits that left our world in the days of the Revolution in Egypt.
It was Incredible when Muslims prayed all together for the youth who gave their souls for a better future while Christians and those who don’t pray are protecting.
It was Incredible when the Christians were reading psalms of Peace and singing calling Jesus to come to Egypt and bring safety and harmony while Muslims – including Muslim Brothers and Veiled Sisters with Religious leaders from Al Azhar – are listing and even singing.
It was Incredible when after the singing a woman with Nikab said loudly: Where is the Egyptian Media? Come and See Egyptians Together.
Today was SOOOOO Peaceful and Strongly Powerful and indeed a huge step forward to a new world where everyone accepts everyone, of course soon including Israelis and Jews.
We DO Need this Real Change: Real Acceptance: Real Peace.
I am SO Optimistic and HaPpY, I just wanted to share this with you.
From Egypt, Cairo: Yasser.

Thank you so much for your prayers. This is what we need most now. the most beautiful thing that we have now is the solidarity we see among all Egyptians . We put our differences aside and think of how to save our beloved Country. As Mamoun said we Shiekhs were saying the prayers and Muslims and Christians say Amen. And when Muslims start their prayers Christians surround them to protect them from any attack while they are praying. At night in the streets the neighbors stand together to protect all the ppl living in the area no matter who they are .

Thanks a lot everyone in URI for all your prayers and support for our beloved country Egypt. The situation is getting worse here a day by day and we are expecting more by tomorrow Friday in an expected big demonstrations. We expected very difficult time in the past 8 days and we still need your continuous support for the peace of our beloved country and for the peace in the world...
URI members supported the civil and peaceful demonstrations which started in 25 January 2011 as the requests of the demonstrators are logic and fair (for more clarification i did not go for the demonstrations for personal reasons but i wish i could) On that day we faced cut in cellular phones and internet by the authorities who wanted us to lose communications. We continued to support demonstrations when the telephone lines came back to work by sharing and discussing the situation and what we need to do.

Dear all,
I called an active URI member in Egypt to check in and get first hand information on the situation in Egypt. The situation is worse than what we are seeing in screens or reading in news papers; Mubarak regime released all the criminals (not political prisoners) to keep people busy defending their safety and properties. The security forces either totally disappeared for two days or changed their uniforms and engaged in sabotage along with freed criminals. The government has blocked internet, mobile messages and closed Al Jazeera’s office.
I was informed that the Christians and Muslims showed outstanding solidarity; they participated in the riots side by side...hand by hand, and when the Muslims pray, the Christian protect them, they protect each other, share food, pray together...etc.
The Egyptians need the help of the international community; they are counting on the democratic states and Human rights organizations to interfere and hear their voices. Therefore, if you can help by any means please do.
May peace prevail on Egypt
May peace prevail on earth
In Allah’s peace
Mamoun
