Our CC Approval Committee Meeting finished a minute ago and it is with the energy of its dedicated members and of the applicant groups that I feel the urge of communicating the good news.
During our meeting we agreed that there was a lot of passion in the work these groups are already doing and plan to do as members of URI. For you to have a taste of this passion I share their dream with you
Four of the approved groups come from South East Asia and the Pacific region, three from the Philippines, one from Australia:
Cebu City Interfaith Cooperation Circles (CCICC)- Cebu, PHILIPPINES
DREAM: Make Cebu the heart of the interfaith movement for the Philippines and Asia Pacific by 2020
Value Laden Professional Circle (VLPC)- Mandaue and Cebu, PHILIPPINES
DREAM: To create a volunteerism spirit that touches and empowers the heart of the youth of the world
Pathfinders’ Commune - Batangas and Las Piñas, PHILIPPINES
DREAM:To give humanity the gift of learning, understanding, sharing and experiencing Love in all areas of Life and to allow Love as the basis of all human action and transformation.
Bumblebee Global Renewal Projects - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA
DREAM: to ensure Bumblebee Global Renewal Projects connects, aligns and partners with communities around the globe, who work in faith to support projects that support the most poor, the most hungry working with lifestyle manufacturing process. We believe we can support with a centralized system that will enable long term sustainable outcomes to be realized and connect these communities and organizations with our design/marketing companies to support sustainability. We desire in this process that we can create an amazing and creative store on line and in reality, many stores around the globe that will market such products with profit share to these same communities.
