The Bhatta Bricks Kiln Labourer Welfare Organziation has been working for humanity since becoming a member of URI in 2002, providing schools, health care, labor rights advocacy and other services to some of Pakistan's poorest and most marginalized workers. It has grown from 500 members to 4000 in 80 cities, representing 52,000 workers. Its schools serve 1200 children. Click here to read more about its work in its 2009-10 annual report.
