Help the Needy Foundation CC held its annual film festival in Bulgaria October 15-17, 2011
The German Muslim League Bonn (DMLB) CC's film "Encounters in Dialogue" won an award at the 8th annual Balfest International Film Festival in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, a project of the Help the Needy Foundation CC. This year's theme was "Arts - YES! Violence and terrorism – NO!" The film documents DMLB's annual Christian Islamic Conference at Pentecost, a three-day residential retreat for families in which participants live and share together, working creatively through dance, writing and more. The conference addresses social and spiritual topics, and includes a program for children. Founded in 1988, it will take place for the 24th time next year.
