Five members of URI-MENA participated in Arab Thought Foundation conference FIKR10 entitled “ Arab Spring: What’s Next?“
They are Nancy Momany(MENA office Manager , Noufal El Hammoumi (Salam Shabab CC- Morocco) , Mostafa Faris (SAWA CC –Egypt) , Bayan Quteshat (Iris Womn Jordan) and Abdallah Choutri from Algeria.
It took a place in Dubai –UAE from 5 – 7 December 2011. The conference addressed the heart of the matter and raised the concerns and questions of individuals involved in the Arab Spring events, from optimists hoping to pessimists fearing its outcomes.
It was under the patronage of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid AlFaisal, Chairman of the Arab Thought Foundation, launched the tenth annual FIKR conference in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai. The event brought together entrepreneurs, officials, decision-makers, academics, intellectuals and a wide array of media figures to discuss and shed light on the aftermath of the "Arab Spring".
It included different sessions where different speakers participated and they discussed their points of view and exchanged ideas as well as shared impressive experiences.
