The program, an effort to introduce audiences in the United States to faith traditions with which many may not be familiar, will include a televised visit to Sri Maha Vallabha Ganapati Devasthanam, a Hindu temple in Flushing, New York and a depiction of a Jeshan ceremony at the Zoroastrian Association of Chicago Fire Temple. The show also features a look at the Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois, long considered a national landmark.
The CBS documentary will air in cooperation with the National Council of Churches, a consortium of Roman Catholic organizations, the Islamic Society of North America, the Union of Reform Judaism and the New York Board of Rabbis.
