BETHAK (Be Empowered Through Awareness and Knowledge)’s youth group gathered in BETHAK’s office at noon for peace prayer and they kept a silence for a minute to unite themselves with the whole world for promotion of peace.
At evening, BETHAK’s peace promoters gathered and lighted candles in consolidation with the world for sustainable peace so that the community may get out of the darkness of selfishness and learn to walk in the light of peaceful understanding and integrity of other people round them for sustainable peace.
At this time Mr. Asgar Fazal, Sr. Josephine, Mrs. Roshan Sikandar, Ms. Patricia, Ms. Roohi Bano, Mr. Sheraz Naseer, Mr.Yaqoob Sahotra, and Mr. Francis Jacob advised the participants to educate society to respect the religious and interfaith values of all the religions for sustainable peace so that our society gets rid of all sorts of existing prejudices and injustices in our society.
