The International Day of Peace in Houston, Texas included a play written by Sister Mama Sonya of 3sisters in the Spirit Theatre Ministry and directed by Ms. "B" called Education for Peace: Catch the Spirit. WIth song, prose, dance and with stories of children of the past and those of today (i.e., four little girls who died when the KKK bombed their church, Sadako's death as a result of the atomic bomb, and more recently Sandy Hook and Trayvon Martin), we still celebrated our chance to get "peace" right with the children TODAY.
