The beautiful campus of Santa Clara University served as the perfect setting for members of the URI Global Council and Staff to meet again. Our shared spiritual family was clearly in loving care thanks to the inspiration of Bishop William Swing, who took part in the gathering of our eight regions of the world.
We came to California with our particular experiences, our dreams and a desire to learn from each other. We acted together to envision the best future for the URI at a time when humanity is crying out to give birth to a new way to recognize, respect and appreciate others in the fabric of planetary life.
I give thanks to Heaven for so much kindness, for all the knowledge we received during our days together and for giving me the opportunity to meet the beautiful sacred space of Nikki Johnson, URI supporter, and our wonderful hostess during our “dine out” night. By sharing her home and her life with us, Nikki allowed us to become a part of her spiritual journey.
It was an unforgettable night for me and for everyone: Sally, Adityananda, John, Edward, Monica and Biswadeb. All the blessings of Heaven for this lovely woman who welcomed us with a delicious dinner in an extraordinary place full of beautiful and meaningful objects, where we shared stories, smiles and memories.
At the sound of Nikki and Biswadeb playing drums together, our souls echoed with joy and gratitude.
