Artist Trina Smith’s 1st Gallery Show

18 April 2015

MAKING ART FOR SHOW

Our House Artist Trina Smith's First Gallery Exhibition

For almost two years, Our House at the historic Project Row Houses has supported artists' endeavors through programming and workshops, engaging artists in becoming all that they can be. The time has come for these artists to grab the mantle and showcase their work through a gallery show specific to their work created during their time at Our House. Our first artist to showcase art will be Catrina Smith aka Trina, a visual artist as well as poet.

Trina's work will hang in Our House Gallery starting on Saturday, April 18th and ending on Saturday, April 25th. Trina's art is a cornucopia of houses, from her black and white pen and ink drawings to houses beautifully colored reminding one of a Dr. Seuss story without the words. Join the Our House Artists' Circle in supporting Ms. Smith with her first gallery showing. Saturday's opening will include an Artist Talk with Ms. Smith starting at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Curator P. K. McCary at 713.485.9214.

Every other Saturday, Our House will host an artist. Stay tune for more information on upcoming gallery showings.
