Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights organized a MOU signing ceremony at Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sialkot. A MOU was signed between Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights and United Nation Association Mauritius.
The former High Commissioner of Mauritius to Pakistan and President of United Nations Association, Mauritius Barrister Rasheed Daureeawo, signed the MOU on behalf of his organization, United Nations Association Mauritius, whereas Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori, Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights, signed the MOU on behalf of his organization.
This MOU will help to further enhance the friendly relations between the two countries through both organizations, recognizing the need to increase mutual benefits to be derived from further development of cooperation between the both organizations. It will help collaboration and cooperation in Social Welfare and Human Rights by promoting programs in these areas with common objectives for mutual interests.
During the MOU signing ceremony, Barrister Rasheed Daureeawo also addressed the civil society members, media representatives, business men, educationists, etc. at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sialkot. While addressing at SCCI Barrister, Rasheed said that Islam is a religion of peace, love, tolerance and respect to everyone, so it is in need of presenting the real image of Islam. He emphasized that Muslims Civil Society Organizations, Muslim Scholars, intellectuals, etc. should promote interfaith and intercultural harmony so that durable peace, eradication of poverty and sustainable development may be ensured.
Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights Muhammad Ijaz Noori, Former District Nazim and President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce Mian Muhammad Naeem Javed, Ex-MPA Tahir Mehmood Hundli Advocate, Dr. Mufti Najeeb Ahmed Hashmi, Mansoor Ahmed and others also addressed the civil society members, media representatives, business men, and educationists.
