The Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights Cooperation Circle delegation, headed by Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori, Chairman, and Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, Executive Director, participated in the new office opening office ceremony of the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) office at Islamabad. This event took place on 22nd October 2015 in connection with the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, organized by the UNIC Pakistan.
Mr. Parveiz Rashid, Federal Minister for Information; Mr. Neil Bhunne, Resident Coordinator for UN Pakistan; Mr. Vittrio Cammarota, Director of UNIC; Mr. Jean Francois, CAUTAIN Ambassador for the European Union to Pakistan; Ms. Christna Tomlinson, Counselor for Public Affairs for the US Embassy to Pakistan; Mr. Joao Paulo Sabido Costa, Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan; Ms. E.A.S Wijaythi Edirisinghe, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan; Mr. Hiroshi Inomata, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan; Dr. Brigitta Blaha, Ambassador of Austria to Pakistan; Mr. Mohammed Omar, Third Secretary Embassy of Egypt to Pakistan; Dr. Dan Tidten, First Secretary Embassy of Germany to Pakistan; and other diplomats and UN officials are also participated in the ceremony.
During the ceremony, the Chairman of PCSW&HR, Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori, and Executive Director Mr. Mansoor Ahmed met with various dignitaries and discussed bilateral issues of common interests.
