Hope in Life Foundation, a URI Multi-Region Cooperation Circle, in partnership with the American Women for International Understanding Los Angeles County Chapter, held a “Message of Peace Releasing Ceremony” on the International Day of Peace 2015.
Keynote speaker, Hollywood actor, and Academy and Emmy award winner Louis Gossett Jr. released a live dove for the ceremony (pictured above). Louis Gossett Jr. is also the founder of the non-profit Eracisim. A crowd of many faiths, including Hindus, Muslims, Christians, and Jews, gathered in the historic Exposition Park Rose Garden in Los Angeles, California, USA, to witness the peace ceremony.
