The URI network in action!
Love Care Foundation, a Cooperation Circle from Ghaziabad, India that just joined URI last month, works to sensitize people to live harmoniously in spite of cultural, religion, caste and economic differences.
They recently collaborated with Matthew Youde, Associate Director of Global Programs for Youth Leadership Development, and Subhi Dhupar, Regional Coordinator for North India, to organize a workshop educating Bageecha leaders on interfaith dialogue and the role of youth in the field of peace-building.
More than 30 young people attended the workshop and were motivated to take the message of peace to the wider community. "They are going to enroll more members, who will spread the message that peace is the most covetable possession on earth. So, to develop a perfect civilization, we are all going to unite and make this world a beautiful place to live."
