The members of Kathak Dharohar visited Naz Foundation, East of Kailash, New Delhi on ‘World AIDS Day, 2016’. The Founder of this organization, Ms. Anjali Gopalan, explained the preventive methods and the treatments available for the HIV-community.
The members of the Kathak Dharohar team cheered HIV positive children, shared food with them, and spent quality time with them so that they could open up and come forth with their inherent talents.
Most of the children were highly enthused and they expressed their desire to learn Kathak. The team could only leave these children on their getting promise that they would be taught Kathak dance by the Kathak Dharohar group in the near future. Education is the basic pillar.
