Providing Free Oral Care for World Laughter Day

25 May 2017

World Laughter Day, which has been celebrated since 1998 on the 7th of May, is marked as a positive manifestation for world peace and is intended to build up global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter.

Laughter, being one of the most positive and powerful emotions, has all the power to motivate individuals to change themselves and to change the world in a peaceful and positive way.

So, this Laughter Day, we in the North Zone of India built bridges between URI Cooperation Circles to bring smiles of health and care to the faces of underprivileged and orphan kids. Drishti Foundation Trust, our Cooperation Circle member, organised an oral healthcare camp for Prayas Juvenile Centre in Jahangirpuri Centre, New Delhi for more than 100 kids.

Extending care and continuous support, Drishti Foundation Cooperation Circle has also decided to offer oral health care and preventive care to as many Cooperation Circle members as possible in the region.

We are grateful to Dinesh Sir, the team of doctors, and Sadhna Ma'am from Prayas Centre Cooperation Circle for making healthy smiles possible for the most neglected and discriminated-against sections of the society.
