URI - América Latina & Caribe successfully hosted the second edition of its music festival "A Song for Peace," which celebrates peace in the form of music. Original songs about peace were submitted by 46 songwriters from different countries of the Latin America and Caribbean region. From those submissions, 12 were chosen by the public and were presented in the festival.
What a wonderful opportunity for like-minded artists to bond and reflect on their contribution to a better world! Thank you to Moreno Overá, Salette Aquino (URI Global Council Trustee), and Deivid Gomes (Assistant to URI Regional Coordination in Brazil) for your hard work, which made this festival happen!
The presence of the regional leadership team outside Brazil: Sofia Painiqueo Tragnolao, Rev. David Limo Pajar and Enoe Texier gave this wonderful event even more relevance.
