Yesterday, Tuesday, August 24, a forum of interfaith speakers spoke with Michael Krasny, host of KQED Radio's Forum in San Francisco. The panel included:
- the Rt. Rev. William E. Swing, Founder and President of URI
- Rita Semel, member of the Board of Trustees of the Graduate Theological Union (GTU), Chair of the Interfaith Center at the Presidio, Executive Vice Chair of the San Francisco Interfaith Council, and former Global Council Trustee for URI
- Heng Sure, GTU alumnus and Director of the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery; and
- Munir Jiwa, Director and Assistant Professor at the Graduate Theological Union's Center for Islamic Studies
