In this Holy Month (25th Ramzan-ul-Mubarak), Hand in Hand organized an Interfaith Iftar Party on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 (on a self-help basis). The representatives of Hand in Hand (Mr. Sajjad Gill and Mr. Derek Bernard) welcomed and thanked all the participants for attending this program.
The program started with a prayer from representatives of different religions, i.e. Muslim, Sikh and Christian. (Mr. Mohammad Aslam, Mr. Parmjeet Singh, Mr. Manmeet Singh and Rev. Fr. Khaliq Saleem). At Iftar time (07:13 p.m), Iftari was served to all the participants. Soon after the Iftar, Muslims brothers offered Namaz-e-Maghrib. After Namaz-e-Maghrib, Iftar Dinner was served to all the participants.
Members of all religious communities thanked and appreciated the efforts of Hand in Hand for organizing this meaningful event in this Blessed Month. On behalf of Hand in Hand, Mr. Derek Bernard thanked all the participants. The program concluded with a group photo.
