Sixteen young people from different cities and religious traditions, ages 11 to 15, came together in Stara Zagora, Southern Bulgaria for a youth camp hosted by URI Cooperation Circle BRIDGES. They answered questions such as, “What brings us together in the diversity of the cultural traditions in which we are born?” and “Can we say that we know others as well as ourselves, so that we respect the peculiarities of their religion and respect their beliefs?”
Camp activities included meeting with representatives of the religious communities in the area, visiting various holy sites, and actively participating in workshops. Together, they discussed and dreamed how to create a modern society free of stereotypes and prejudices.
