Intercontinental face-to-face meeting of URI Global Trustees from Brazil and Bulgaria
After the URI Global Council meeting in Sarajevo, on 25th of September during her Balkan trip, Senhora/Doña Salette Aquino, URI Global Trustee from Latin America, has visited the City of Plovdiv in Bulgaria, the eldest living city in Europe, appointed as a Capital of Culture of Europe for 2019.
It was a short visit, but there was still time for an early coffee stop with Rev. Dr. Petar Gramatikov, Global Trustee from Europe and chief expert in religious questions at the Municipality of Plovdiv, to receive introduction in the history and traditions of the Fatherland of Mrs. Dilma Vana Rousseff (whose father was an immigrant in Brazil during the communistic past of Bulgaria), the 36th President of Brazil from 2011 until her impeachment and removal from office on 31 August 2016, becoming the first democratically-elected female president in the world to be impeached and removed.
