WEDO GLOBAL, a URI Multiregion group based in Hong Kong, worked together with a group of DBS Bank employees in a recent visit to a Sikh Temple. They organized an interactive Cantonese class for a group of children visiting from Khalsa Diwan Kindergarten.
“It was a unique and special experience for both the non-Chinese kids and the DBS team, since the kids have never played with so many Chinese brothers and sisters before,” recalls a Cooperation Circle member. “At first, the kids were a bit shy, but it took a little while only for the kids to become active. I still remember the way the kids were jumping with joy during the activities!”
At the end of the activity, the children were reluctant to leave—they wanted to play more games with the DBS team. It was an amazing shared experience of learning and connection between cultures.
