Freddie’s delicious Iraqi cuisine gathered together Cooperation Circle members from URI Bulgaria. The interfaith lunch was organized by BRIDGES CC and took place at the “Ashurbanipal” restaurant in Sofia, Bugaria.
Angelina, Svetlana and Diana from BRIDGES, together with Dr. Arif Abdullah from the Institute for Islamic Studies, Praveena and Ines from Student Aid Drop, and Christian and Neely from Beautiful Faces of Syria, discussed their future projects, plans and joint initiatives. The newly-born URI Europe Cooperation Circle, Student Aid Drop, was warmly welcomed and accepted as a part of our local URI family.
During the lunch, we used many languages to understand each other and to enjoy conversations and storytelling.
