By words and actions, people all over the world give voice to URI. Their voices remind us what URI means and inspire even more of us to speak out and spread URI’s message.
In 2000, Stephen Fuqua, a member of the Bahá'í faith and a student at University of Austin Texas, read about URI online and decided to offer his talents. After graduating, he worked full-time, but he generously gave his late-night hours to serve URI’s North America region in its early years. His voice lifts us up today. (Stephen Fuqua currently lives in Austin, caring for nature and the Bahá'í faith.)
