Our message of "No War - Need Peace" marks the tragedy of the fatal nuclear bombings.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki Memorial Day was observed by the Laa De' Institute of Social Sciences, in association with URI Cooperation Circle Zero Limits, with its message of "No War - Need Peace" to mark the tragedy of the fatal nuclear bombings in 1945.
The students organised a special peace assembly, along with day-long programs. The programs included an elocution competition, poster making, and a "No War" placard campaign. The participants received a copy of "The World of Nuclear Weapons," a book edited by Dr. Abraham Karickam.
A beautiful thought on Peace Day was followed with a look back at the Hiroshima and Nagasaki disasters. A moment of silence was observed to pay homage to all the victims.
