At the 2018 Parliament of the World's Religions, Chief Phil Lane and Ricardo Bustos Manzano, two URI members, meet for the first time at the URI hospitality space.
Chief Phil is an enrolled member of the Yankton Dakota and Chickasaw First Nations and is an internationally-recognized leader in human and community development, as well as a Council member for the Charter for Compassion, a URI Cooperation Circle. Ricardo is a member of Fraternidad Interespiritual, a URI Cooperation Circle in México City that brings together Bahá'ís, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jews and Sikhs to promote harmonious coexistence.
Building bridges between peacebuilders in communities around the world is one of the most rewarding benefits of being a part of the URI global network.
