The Gandhi Peace Centre opens a new horizon for more people committed to peace, multicultural tolerance and understanding.
At the inauguration, various dignitaries highlighted Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings of non-violence and respect for all living creatures. Dr. Duncan Wielzen represented URI at this occasion, for which he had written a statement on Mahatma Gandhi’s inspiration and the work of URI, committed to peace. This written statement was well received.
