Women's International League for Peace and Freedom - WILPF (Sierra Leone, Western Africa)
Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) branch in Sierra Leone was launched in August 2018 to work with all people, especially women of diverse backgrounds, to prevent and resolve conflicts and build peace at local, regional and international levels. Members work from a feminist perspective and promote human rights work for freedom, peace, dignity and prosperity of all in the society. They are engaged in peace and environment education in communities, schools and other institutions that support women, children and youth to help them realize their full potentials.
Wildlife and Natural Resources Conservations & Rehabilitation Trust (Malawi, Southern Africa)
Our purpose is to develop environmental and natural resources management activities through local community involvement, using both scientific and indigenous knowledge to foster wildlife and environmental awareness programs and to undertake natural resource conservation, preservation and rehabilitation in Malawi.
Chahat Charitable Trust (Rajasthan, North India)
Chahat Charitable Trust works in free education, skill development and women’s rights advocacy. Members conduct and engage the community in several social development events, like organizing blood donation camps, free health checkups, and art-related events like fashion shows and arts-and-crafts competitions. They also work towards healing environments through activities like tree plantings. Within two years from their commencement, they have opened four centers in the Bhiwadi and Milakpur areas in the state of Rajasthan, India.
Faith, Hope and Charity (La Habana, Cuba)
People bring their disappointments, afflictions and sickness to the House of Faith, Hope and Charity, and through spiritual therapies, they recover their emotional and physical health. Members want to achieve union and peace in Cuba by fostering dialogue and promoting exchange among different faiths and cultures.
Jerusalem Peacebuilders (URI Multiregion, based in the United States)
Jerusalem Peacebuilders (JPB)’s purpose is to foster a new Abrahamic family of Jewish, Christian and Muslim leaders who are committed to each other and to building peaceful and just societies in Israel, Palestine and the United States. This will empower members of this intentional family with skills, relationships, and support to be effective leaders, active societal change-agents and peace-builders.
