On July 11, a very important meeting on Women, Advocacy and Human Rights was held in Lima, Peru.
URI Global Council Trustee Rev. David Limo represented the URI Lima Cooperation Circle (member group). There was the signing of a pronouncement for the parity and alternation of gender as a political right.
With the presence of the Premier of the Peruvian state, the Minister of Women, the Minister of Justice, and Congressmen of political organizations, the event was given special significance.
“We have strengthened our relationship with United Nations agencies, the British Embassy, and International Cooperation Organizations,” said Rev. David Limo. “An arduous work of contribution awaits us as interfaith cooperation for Human Rights and social inclusiveness."
