On Friday, February 21, 2020, in the city of Quito, Ecuador, the URI member group “Comunidad de Reflexión y Espiritualidad Ecológica” (CREE) organized a talk called “One Such Jesus, One Such Magdalene, and One Such Paul.” At the event, CREE members shared their feelings and observations with the theologian José Ignacio López Vigil. Theologian Lopez believes in radio as a powerful means of dissemination to discuss religious and spiritual issues without imposition. The dialogue was rich and intense. It was about community radio as a vehicle for a culture of peace and justice. They also talked about biblical theology, liberation, and provocation theology.
“We were very inspired from this meeting that was a sign of the Kingdom of God,” CREE members said afterward. About 20 people participated and it was an enriching space for all visions.
