As part of the celebration of the 2020 World Interfaith Harmony Week (the first week of February every year), a diverse interfaith and intercultural group from different parts of the world journeyed to Jordan, Palestine, and Israel under the theme of “Holy Land - Living Water.” Their mission was to celebrate the World Interfaith Harmony Week of the United Nations to enhance interfaith harmony, to share interfaith events, to collaborate on peace-building projects and supporting programs to promote social well-being through ecological sustainability, and to promote the common shared value of the Golden Rule, which says,
“Treat others the way you want to be treated."
The event was co-sponsored by UNITY EARTH (a URI member group), EcoPeace Middle East (a URI member group), and the United Religions Initiative (URI).
The delegation was comprised of 92 people from around the world including Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Baha’i, Sikh, Indigenous and interfaith spiritual leaders, social entrepreneurs, academics, diplomats, musicians, ecologists, filmmakers, and peace activists.
It is my great pleasure to share with you the report of the celebration of the 2020 World Interfaith Harmony Week.

In peace and gratitude,
