URI Netherlands members were able to physically gather together in Amsterdam in 2018.
Saturday, March 14, 2020 should have been the much-anticipated celebration of 20 years of URI in the Netherlands. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the physical gathering needed to be postponed. Refusing to be kept apart in spirit, however, Morgana Sythove wrote an extensive report introducing the speakers and partner organizations who have worked for many years for “Peace, Freedom, and Friendship” (which would have been the theme of the gathering), both in the Netherlands and internationally with URI Global. URI members in the Netherlands look forward to 20 more years with even more heart.
