Even though such services have become much harder under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Interfaith Initiative of Santa Barbara County, a URI member group in California, USA, is continuing to provide showers, supplies, and support to members of their community who are homeless through their “Showers of Blessing” program. Having a way to get clean helps the community members feel more legitimate and increases their ability to find work.
