Qutub Kidwai, Regional Coordinator for URI West India, writes of action and gratitude during the pandemic in her Facebook post:
"URI West India office is one of the known access points today, thanks to the work of my volunteer team. Yesterday, we distributed 15 days of ration kits to the 80 families who are domestic help, daily wage earners, families of HIV patients, and others. Heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude to Rev. Fr. Mario Mendes, Director of the Centre for Social Action, for his generous support. Within no time, he approved my request. This pandemic also helped us meet many noble souls, whether they are donors, volunteers, or networkers. Amidst challenges, I am blessed to have met all these angels belonging to all religious groups. Hindus, Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, and Tribals are now aware of the URI West India office. There is so much Hope and Togetherness!"
