Global Youth Movement Cooperation Circle (GYM CC) is a URI member group that connects youth from diverse backgrounds to bridge their differences, to grow as leaders, and to work together for the good of their communities and the world. GYM offers real-world leadership development, and youth leaders are able to engage in interfaith dialogue, plan projects, and build knowledge and skills together. Members have the vision of thinking globally and acting locally.
Issac S Thomas, GYM Coordinator, states:
“India has been on lockdown for over 40 days and will continue to be on lockdown for weeks to come. As much as this is necessary, it is very stressful for a major portion of the society that is left with no means of income and is struggling to stay afloat. In the spirit of Ramadan, Our Global Youth Movement CC has started a ration kit distribution system that'll help feed a family for weeks in less than $30. It's been 10 days and we've raised money from India and UAE to distribute over 300 such kits in Karnataka.
