In 2018, the United Nations established the Multi-faith Advisory Council (MFAC). The council is made up of over 40 religious leaders and faith-based organizations. It works on issues related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Sustaining Peace.
For the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, the council is hosting this conference to discuss the role of faith in the United Nations.
