On November 25, members of Sonrío (a URI member group in Buenos Aires, Argentina) made their first face-to-face visit to the post-quarantine hospital since the COVID-19 pandemic began. This group brings hospital clowns to patients who are in need of encouragement and company, which is especially important during difficult times for patients and hospital staff alike. “It was a very exciting and enriching activity for…patients, doctors, nurses and serious clowns,” they reported. The visit went alongside a campaign for the International Day Against Gender Violence.
