On January 7, 2024, the Qudrat Association for Social Development in Mafraq Governorate, an active member of the United Religious Initiative Jordan, organized a symposium that brought together government institutions and elected councils to discuss the needs of young people, the challenges they face, and ways to find solutions.

The CEO of the Association explained that the symposium aims to find solutions to the needs of young people and the challenges they face through a meaningful group dialogue in which the leaders of these institutions participate. This dialogue works to bridge the gap between officials, decision-makers and youth.

He pointed out that these institutions include vocational training, employment, education, chambers of commerce and industry, social development, and governorate councils. During the symposium, the Qudrat team discussed policy papers covering various sectors such as health, education, economy, development, and society. sharing. These papers were developed by a group of young people aged 18-30 years.

They received training on writing policy papers for youth, peaceful negotiation techniques, collaborative working mechanisms, and how to propose further solutions to address challenges faced by members of local communities.

The training aimed to empower and build the capabilities of youth in the governorate, activate their social roles and influence decision-makers and community leaders.
