A few like-minded people of different religious backgrounds came together to form Bangalore north CC. Since members are diverse and have a common purpose it is an asset to work together.
Members of the group have actively participated in interfaith festival celebrations, have been part of Mercy Mission --a project that took a very active part during COVID in distribution of Food, Medicine, and Ration; helped in procuring hospital beds and oxygen cylinders for those in distress, counselling the covid affected families, arranging for performing the last rites of the covid infected bodies, looking after the orphaned, etc. as individuals.
They now want to continue their activities as an organization by being part of URI. They also intend to diversify their activities by involving students in dialogues, essays, community activities and interfaith celebrations
