Bitiya Ek Saahas was created by a group of management students working for slum dwellers to create awareness of health and hygiene and of a better environment. They have decided to make the condition of downtrodden and deprived people much better than it is at present. Bitiya Ek Sahas works for women’s development, enriching women’s knowledge and strengthening their abilities in social aspects. The group promotes better health and hygiene among girls under 18, irrespective of caste and creed, building the self-reliance of women at a grassroots level. Members also promote education for all children and care for the environment. They are sure their efforts will make people realize the importance of unity, casting aside all the differences like religions, cast and creed. They partner with many organizations and individuals with unique ideas and guidance.
