Most of the members of CC URI Guanabara are teachers. They understand that people search for the sacred and that in this search they must respect traditions of other people. They believe that school should not promote any religion among the students. Teachers experience that, at school, there are students that are defending their religions in extreme ways, even though they have no idea why they are behaving like this. URI Guanabara members think that if they can show the work of URI, students will have a more solid base to start the interfaith dialogue. Their emerging group will show them the importance of respecting the differences, and encourage them to think how they can make the world a better place
