Noor Health Foundation is a recently formed Community Based Organization (CBO) from rural Tamil Nadu. It was primarily initiated by a couple of persons from Islamic Faith. When they learned about URI, they decided to take up their activities in line with the basic Principle and Purpose of URI. Members observe that there are many tensions among communities due to political manipulation. They will address this issue by starting interfaith clubs in many villages around them. They hope to cultivate a culture of harmony while they engage people of different faiths in social services such as Health Camps, Tree Plantations, Free Food Distribution.
They plan to conduct awareness campaigns, and educate human rights and self- employment for widows together.
