Mozambique has more than 20 or 30 tribes. In each tribe there are certain beliefs and faiths. Paz Mozambique Cooperation Circle (CC) believes interfaith will help the community deal with almost every kind of belief among the tribes. Members created a platform where they have an opportunity to discuss, express opinion and find similarities that can make them build the country together. This CC believes that if there was only one faith, people would not be able to embrace each other and walk together. This CC was created to help Mozambicans recognize, accept, and celebrate their diversity and contributions to build peace in Mozambican society. As members of URI, they plan to offer capacity building for peace within existing institutions including: highlighting role models, emphasizing on adapting plans to a local context, case studies and access to information.
