Peace and Social Welfare Organization Cooperation Circle (CC) is a young organization from the state of Andhra Pradesh—where there are constant frictions among various religious communities. Caste and creed differences are also very strong. As such, CC members take it upon themselves to advocate for and uphold democracy and integration. This CC is comprised of very enthusiastic members who are committed to building interfaith harmony and peace through awareness programs, workshops and other meetings, and also by promoting interfaith understanding. Members attempt to help prevent all forms of religious violence. Their initiatives include: arranging awareness programs for communal and religious harmony; starting school based interfaith campaigns; promoting leadership training programs for youth; and organizing women empowerment projects.
